With our guidance and a partner, take your body measurements. This option requires a tape measure & a partner. DO NOT attempt to take your own measurements!

Place the measuring tape around the neck at the height where the collar would normally rest (just below your Adam’s apple). The tape should be resting lightly on the skin, not squeezing it. Hold one finger under the tape measure to ensure some room for comfort. (Do not try to account for shrinkage by adding extra here. We will do that for you.)

    • $

Place the tape just under the armpits and measure around the upper (fullest) part of the chest. Tip: When measuring, naturally inhale so that your body is full but do not puff out your chest.

Measure around the fullest part of your stomach. Do not hold your stomach in.

Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Measure with your arm at your side from the tip of the shoulder down to where your hand meets your wrist-bone (or the backhand area of the meaty part of your palm).

    • $

Measure around your arm, under the armpit (do not contract muscles).

Measure across the top of the shoulder from one edge to the other. Ensure you take the curved contour over the top of the shoulders as shown. Tip: Wearing your best fitting shirt measure up to the shoulder seams.

    • $

Measure from where the bottom of the back of your collar meets the top of the yoke seam, and down your back until the desired length of your shirt. TIP: Business & formal shirts - which will be tucked-in - should be longer (about halfway down your buttocks)...
